EarthBound begins in the quiet town of Onett, where a meteor crash shatters young Ness's ordinary life. A strange being named Buzz Buzz warns him of Giygas, a monstrous alien set to destroy the world, and reveals that only four children can stop him. Ness must find Paula, Jeff, and Poo to battle bizarre enemies in this turn-based RPG. Travel through quirky locations, gain experience, use psychic powers, and survive heavy hits thanks to the rolling HP meter. Weaker enemies flee from strong heroes, and saving is done by phoning Ness's dad. A heartfelt, humorous, and deeply imaginative adventure awaits.
