RROD — Red Ring of Death, the three-quadrant red ring indicating a general hardware failure — entered popular culture. Microsoft acknowledged the problem in 2007, extending the warranty to three years after internal estimates put the initial failure rate around 30%. Internal hardware revisions (Xenon, Zephyr, Falcon, Jasper, Trinity, Corona) progressively improved reliability: Jasper units from 2008 onwards are the most stable. The 360 has a surprisingly deep JRPG library: Blue Dragon, Lost Odyssey, Infinite Undiscovery, Tales of Vesperia — the latter remaining a 360 exclusive in the West until 2019. First sealed prints of those titles are already attracting collector attention.
